Christmas 2005 Run In Ocala NF

pics & story courtesy of  Chad Jones

The first real wet spot we found...who says there's no mud in Ocala?
Chad in his 88 FJ62 getting dirty as usual.

What goes up must come down...
these drops are even funner with 6 people in the cabin!

ChuckD in his 350 powered FJ40 on 35 Goodyear MTRs showing some
extreme reserve and skill by simply walking up the hill.

Who needs a lift...or mud tires...or lockers?!?!
Frank from Clermont showed what a stock 92 FJ80 is truly capable of,
especially on this nasty climb.

The "Landbruiser" decided to lean back on this one...
after all, all four tires on the ground just aint cool.

Traversing 37" ruts with 31" tall tires...result: whole lotta "i almost made it!."
Car Wash- $10, Vaccum for interior- $5, first stuck of the day- priceless.

Believe me, everyone was leaning to the driver side!
The tree stump on top of the sand hill recommended another path around.

Who needs boats when you got cruisers?!
Besides, they work better in the weeds.

Probably the nastiest of hill climbs for the day...
took a break to show some nice articulation.
Would have loved to see Velveeta follow the Landbruiser up it!

First ChuckD drove through 4 foot deep mud!
Then over 3 foot tall boulders!
After jumping three logs, he climbed straight up this 60 degree hill!
Talk about superb photography.
